Let me introduce myself. I've been working in real estate for several years. I have a good knowledge of the real estate market on the North Shore and of certain areas of Montreal because I have a personal interest in real estate there. I am constantly on the lookout for medium- and high-density real estate projects. Considering the crying need in the rental market, my experience will be a considerable asset in your efforts to increase your rental inventory.
I also have a keen interest in design. In fact, I've been involved in several major renovation and new construction projects where I've made all the material choices. A harmonious, timeless decor is the key to a lasting investment. I've also done a bit of home staging and have a knack for making the most of a property's assets.
I'm a meticulous person who looks for all the relevant data in order to advise you properly. Acquiring or selling your property involves a great deal of information, and it's worth taking the time to consider it carefully, to avoid making decisions based on emotion. For a successful transaction, the various avenues must have been explored to avoid questioning, hesitation or regret.
Residential real estate transactions regularly involve their share of emotions. We must never lose sight of the human beings behind these transactions, who experience a certain amount of stress at different levels of intensity. In addition to my experience in the real estate field, I also have over 15 years' experience as a social worker, which has led me to be very sensitive to others and to seek solutions adapted to the needs of all my clients.
I would also like to point out that I have a good knowledge of the Chambéry district in Blainville. Having lived there for a number of years, I'm very familiar with the attractions of this developing neighborhood and those to come (construction of a new elementary school planned for 2025, a park and the Place de la Savoie). Since my interest in real estate is not new, I've seen the growing interest in this area. I'm also familiar with the various developers in the area, the land values and the buzz. I'm well aware of the area's feeder school and nearby private schools, the parks, hiking trails available and the services offered by the municipality of Blainville within a certain radius.
I've lobbied the city of Blainville for greater safety in the neighborhood, and I have many acquaintances in this very family-friendly neighborhood. I myself have three children who attended the CPE at the entrance to the neighborhood, a building I helped to build through my involvement as president and vice-president of the CPE's Board of Directors for several years. I've also had a number of discussions with the last two municipal councillors in charge of this sector to address various points with a view to improving certain aspects of the district and consulting the population. I therefore have expertise in this area that would be beneficial to both buyers and sellers.
